Exploring how expressive handiwork and custom graphics can enhance a refined technical product, Sam Jayne offers new interpretations to old icons, as homage to the influences that come to represent us. Sam customized 50 Arc’teryx products, all the better to express your inner wild. In support of @crenshawdairymart and its collaboration with @Summaeverythang Community Center to provide free art supplies to the Watts and South-Central Los Angeles community.

“I think people are drawn to pieces that have a bit of personality, a story. I like the connection between hand done and technical. To take something really technical and make it feel totally unique, a little bit weird or bizarre, makes a statement that says, hey, I’m into these activities, but look at this wildness. This is a better vessel for my personality.

Honestly, it's been a dream project. I've been inspired by and using Arc'teryx products for a long time, so to be able to bring new and unique graphics to the table and combine them products of this caliber has been such a trip. I hope the project gets people excited to go outside, explore their surroundings, get inspired, and keep creating. The project also has a great community focus centered around the La Brea store and will help raise money for a local arts initiative, Crenshaw Dairy Mart”
