Episode 14: Solo—Lessons from the Plants, Being Inspired by Love & Finding My Voice

For episode 14 of the podcast I finally got my home recording system set up so that I can create some new episodes during this time of isolation. It’s been a month since returning to LA from Mexico and I share some of my learnings and insights from 3 nights of plant medicine ceremonies that had a huge impact on me, uncovering the deep seeded believe that ‘there is something wrong with me.’ In addition the realization that I’d been living out of integrity with myself and getting the opportunity to feel the internal dis-ease this had been causing me, but rather than beat myself up about, what if I brought compassion to myself? I share about the change of being motivated by the fear of not being enough, to being inspired by self-love and how that changed the flow of energy within myself. Finally, I share some of the tools that have helped me in recent weeks, how taking stock of them can help us see how we’re doing day to day and which ones to utilize to keep us grounded in a challenging time.

If I’m motivated by love for myself and I know that if I meditate I’m going to create more space within myself, my mind is going to be more creative, then why wouldn’t I go meditate? If I love myself, then I’m going to go meditate.
