CULTURE
Sky High Farm
“Artist Dan Colen’s Sky High Farm, the produce from which fights food insecurity in New York, features in the latest issue of i-D. During the pandemic, they’ve been busy in their upstate acres growing tons of food for local food banks, and to date, they’ve delivered more than 69 tons of meat and vegetables to food banks and pantries throughout the state. Now, after nine years, Dan and the farm are entering a new decade as an official 501c3 non-profit charitable organization.” Check out the video above or on i-D to learn more about the farm and how you can get involved | Link
TOOLS
Ebb & Flo Balance Board
With limited gyms, classes and movement options during Covid, it’s key to find activities that are fun, challenging and new. After recently hanging out with Rio, I’m excited about the Ebb & Flo Balance Board. Made to mimic surfing and help train your body for the ocean, this backyard board is amazing for finding flow states at home, developing stability, balance, presence and core functionality | Link

The Power of Awareness
There are many mindfulness programs available, but when it comes to training in the western world, it’s hard to beat Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Among the programs they’ve created through Sounds True, The Power of Awareness is a 7-week course that you can take online to deepen your own practice, heal emotional trauma, improve communications and take a step towards being able to teach mindfulness | Link

Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza
Joe Dispenza’s teachings have become life-changing for me, from his books and meditations to in-depth programs on Gaia TV. I’m consistently blow away by the science-backed research and insights into how our brains work in collaboration with our bodies to co-create our reality. I just finished listening to Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One – and again it blew me away and has inspired a shift in my own experience day to day, and in my meditation practice | Link

Yoga for Runners with Traci Copeland
Since Covid hit I’ve had a hard time finding a regular yoga practice. I was so used to my hot studio and I miss it dearly. Finally I have begun to ease back into a practice at home, utilizing free options via YouTube for now. It doesn’t necessarily pack the spiritual punch I still miss, but I do enjoy getting back into the gentle movement piece, and Traci Copeland’s short classes for Well+Good have been a great way to start again | Link
